Ravage The Scream Queen DVD

At this year's FoF I was awestruck by the amount of amazingly cool people there were to meet.

By far the nicest was the illustrious and infamous Mr. Bill Zebub. While I gladly went through his catalogue looking for the titles I wanted, titles I would never share with the family, I basically just struck up a conversation with the man himself. When we got to the part where I told him I was one of the guys who reviewed Metalheads... on this forum, he asked if I wanted another one. Of course I wanted another one!!! He assured me it was "naughty". When I asked "how naughty?", he leaned in closer and stared me straight in the eye and said, in a hushed voice, "very naughty". He wasn't wrong.

The beginning of the film introduces us to the two main characters (the villains) and their unintended discovery of a snuff film while digging a latrine for their camp site. After reviewing the film, one of the villains decides that it would be a great idea for them to film their own series of snuff films, and blame it on the person who buried the original DVD in the woods in the first place. Hilarity ensues (not really, as this is a seriously disturbing portrayal of rape and sexual violence), and our villains find themselves in a situation that yields no lack of victims for their crimes. Rapes and Murders abound, and problems start to surface between the two main characters which culminates in the twist ending that I really didn't see coming.

Overall, this was a titty show with great amounts blood to boot. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at an anal stabbing either. What would a Bill Zebub film be without one anyways?

If you like sleeze and creativity produced with an "I-don't-give-a-fuck" attitude, pick this up. I rather enjoyed it, even though it prompted several people in my family to ask me what the hell I found so great about exploitative cinema...
