 The "Irni" shirt

This hilarious T-shirt design was actually the front cover of issue #6 of THE GRIMOIRE OF EXALTED DEEDS MAGAZINE.

Bill Zebub asked Jim Walls to draw a ratehr traditional crucifixion, but instead of having the face of Jesus, the body would bear the head of Ernie.

Why would the crucifixion of Ernie be funny?  Well, by itself it may not be so hilarious.  But if you take a look at the sign that is nailed to the top of the cross, the letters spell "Irni."  This is an intentional re-ordering of the traditional letters.  When you look at paintings that bear that sign, the letters are "I-N-R-I."  (These stood for words that pretty much declared "Rex Mundi. or LORD OF THIS WORLD, which is rather silly when you compare that to the things that the Jesus character said  - didn't he say something about his dominion not being of this world?  Well, just another contradiction in the religion of lies).

The artwork was originally a pencil sketch, which is actually difficult to render as a t-shirt.  All previous designs used a halftone process, but this latest batch is a high contrast version, which means that there is no gray in the image - it's just black or white, and this makes for a much bolder image.  It's got greater impact from a distance.

This is the first t-shirt version of the drawing that has all of the original artwork intact.  Previous versions took out the background, and some versions blended artwork from other Jim Walls drawings.  (Bill Zebub likes to make each batch of t-shirts unique)

Quantities are limited, so you must Email masterzebub (at) alo (dot) com to see if your preferred size is in stock.  Currently the available sizes are Small, Medium, Large, Extra large, and Double Extra large for fat pigs.

 The "Santa" Shirt

This shirt is another great collaboration between Bill Zebub and Jim Walls.

The artwork was originally drawn as the front cover for issue #7 of THE GRIMOIRE OF EXALTED DEEDS magazine.

The first time that this was made into a t-shirt was actually when Grimoire Girl Natalia, from Canada, made a batch soonafter the issue was released.

Since then there have been a few t-shirts made from the artwork, but without the text at the bottom and at the top.

Just like the new IRNI shirt, this one was made as a high contrast version, which is quite striking from a distance.

The "Grimoire" text had been removed from previous versions because Bill Zebub discovered that people who had never heard about THE GRIMOIRE OF EXALTED DEEDS magazine were still buying the shirt (as well as the other frint-cover designs).    He released the current version with the Grimoire stamp because die hard fans have clamored for it, and if shirt-wearers have no idea what the true origins are, the text won't ruin the enjoyment of the picture.

Supplies are limited, as with all new batches.  So please Email masterzebub@aol.com to discover if any of the small, medium, large, extra large, and double extra fatass large are available.
