Bill Zebub News Sept. ’26

Bill Zebub will film “Don’t Get in That Car!” over the coming weeks. Funders who participated in the Kickstarter will be able to watch the movie in October. The rest of the world must wait until spring.

That movie is a role-reversal of the rape-revenge genre, but the parody goes far beyond a gender swap. If done right, you should be able to see how much every cast member has while filming.

“The Gods are Rapists” wrapped. Funders for the Kickstarter were given the movie already. The rest of the world must wait until spring, but you might enjoy a little blooper here.

Fanzine Editor” has been re-titled to “The God of Metal has Died.” It is an experimental comedy that will have a huge cast. It is more of a slice-of-life movie that does not have a grandiose plot. Bill Zebub plays a character loosely based upon himself. He;s similar to Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) in that many of his problems are of his own making. Also, he has tremendously bad luck.

Amid the extremely comical scenes will be very serious love-of-life montages that show the uncanny bond Bill Zebub magically forms with animals. He spent a lot of time capturing footage of many kinds of creatures and of nature. The Bluray will probably have chapter-skip options for people who consider such footage to be boring.

Yes, every such montage is a speed bump to the pace, but it is intentional, not an amateurish mistake. The fast pace of some scenes shows how insignificant they are, really. If you have ever been in the company of a dying person, there are many things no longer considered important. Problems and drama seem important when young and healthy, but a dying person no longer gives much thought to these things. The slow motion montages show what should be savored in life.
