Fans Helped “Boogers of the Antichrist”

Bill Zebub ran a crowdfunding campaign for his parody of occult horror called “Boogers of the Antichrist” which is in active production.

The movie was going to be filmed whether or not anyone contributed. It was nice to see the level of support from fans of Bill Zebub’s work. These campaigns are a good way to test whether or not fans approve of a movie idea. Bill Zebub’s fans are not blind followers. If obtaining a limited-edition version in a sort of glorified pre-purchase doesn’t work, then perhaps the movie won’t fare that well commercially. Today there was celebration. Fans have spoken. They want BOOGERS OF THE ANTICHRIST.

The campaign helped the movie in many ways. One improvement is the use of expensive special effects materials for some of the gore. (It’s not a gore movie, but the contributions made it possible to depict some actions in a more graphic manner).

The other improvement is the casting of Rachel Crow. (She is flying in from another country, actually). She was in Holocaust Cannibal, Nightmare on Elmo’s Street, Dickshark, and she was the lead actress in The Lesser Evil. She will be making appearances in horror conventions in 2020. There is discussion about her being an official guest of Shock Stock in Canada. If you saw her at Horrorhound in Cincinnati when Holocaust Cannibal played there, then you know that she is the most loved of all of the actresses who starred in Bill Zebub’s movies. In fact, she signed far more autographs than any other that weekend, including a scream queen who has had a much longer career who was also there promoting the movie. But it’s not too surprising. Rachel Crow loves talking to her fans.
